Frequently Asked Questions

Shipping

Do you ship internationally?

We do not currently offer international shipping as we are reviewing customs charges and fees post-Brexit. We hope to be able to recommence shipping to the EU soon and we are still fulfilling existing international orders/ subscriptions. If you order a magazine to be shipped internationally, we will cancel and refund your order.

For orders going to Australia and New Zealand, please go to our dedicated stockist, Tanglewood Toys: https://tanglewoodtoys.co.nz/collections/a-year-and-a-day

For orders going to the USA, please go to Bella Luna Toys:

https://www.bellalunatoys.com/collections/a-year-and-a-day

Conscious Craft in the UK stocks our magazine and offer international shipping options.

We are working towards having more dedicated stockists outside of the UK to handle all international orders.

How long will it take for my magazine to arrive?

As we are a very small team we only dispatch orders on Mondays and Thursdays. Postal services are also experiencing delays so please be patient. Please contact us if you have not received your magazine within a week of ordering.

We send our magazines by second class post and aim to dispatch within three days of ordering. You should receive an email when your magazine has been dispatched. We send all of our magazines by Royal Mail, except for wholesale orders.

If your order is being sent to a UK address, we expect the magazine to arrive within a week of dispatch. If your order has not arrived within two weeks, we will send out a replacement copy/ copies free of charge.

For existing international orders only:

If your order is being sent to an address in Europe, we expect the magazine to arrive within three weeks of dispatch. If your order has not arrived within 28 days from ordering, we will send out a replacement copy/ copies free of charge.

If your order is being sent to an address in outside of the UK and Europe (e.g. ‘rest of the world’), we expect the magazine to arrive within six weeks of dispatch. If your order has not arrived within 60 days from ordering, we will send out a replacement copy/ copies free of charge.

Subscriptions

We now sell all new individual copies and magazine subscriptions via Conscious Craft in the UK.

If you have an existing subscription with us then we will continue to fulfil your subscription until it ends. We will not be giving any customer information to Conscious Craft.

An annual subscription is four copies of the magazine per year. The release dates are:

Spring Issues: March

Summer Issues: June

Autumn Issues: September

Winter Issues: December

Will my subscription roll over once it has finished?

No. You will need to make a new order. An annual subscription consists of four copies and this is a one-off payment, not direct debit.

Returns and Refunds

Can I return my order if it is damaged or I am not happy with the quality?

If a customer is not happy with the quality of the magazine, we accept returns and will issue a refund. We do not pay for the postage on returns. For orders containing 1-2 copies, we prefer that you pass on the magazine/s to someone you think might like it more! If your order contains 3+ magazines, we ask that you return the magazines, and once we have received your return you will be issued with a refund, plus a refund on any postage cost you paid in your original order.

If your order arrives damaged, please contact us at info@ayearandaday.co.uk. We are happy to apply refunds (full or partial) on damaged goods.
